I have been certified in civil trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1994. I have been listed in the Best Lawyers edition of the Louisville magazine under both Personal Injury Defense and Mediation since 2006.  I have been listed by Kentucky Super Lawyers since 2007 and Best Lawyers in America since 1995, which is the oldest and most respected peer rated publication in the legal profession. I am admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of U.S. District Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

I served as President of the Kentucky Bar Foundation, and was awarded the Bruce K. Davis Award for Bar service in 2014. I have over 40 years' experience and focus my practice in Insurance Defense, including Personal Injury, UM/UIM, Declaratory Judgment Actions, Product Liability, Property Casualty, Slip and Fall, Wrongful Death, Insurance Coverage Disputes and Bad Faith. Additionally, I have done work as a mediator for the past 10 years. I have extensive experience in State and Federal trial practice and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
