Members from the Lexington Fire Department, Air Force ROTC, UK Army ROTC and Lexington Police Department climbed the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs in memoriam of the 403 firefighters and police officers who died on 9/11.
Each climber could choose to wear badge with the name and image of a 9/11 first responder or a fallen Lexington officer. As they climbed, they would complete their lap, ring a bell and say the person’s name they climbed for.
We want to honor and always remember the victims from this day. Our team members representing L&S were Gavin Henshaw and Dominic Donovan, special thanks to both of them for supporting such a worthy cause.
